			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.mixare.org/" target="_blank">Mixare</a> has been born! A Free Open Source Augmented Reality Browser, which is published under the <a href="http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html">GPLv3</a>. At the moment mixare is available for the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_%28operating_system%29">Android platform</a>. It works as a completely autonomous application and is available as well for the development of own implementations.</p>
<p>This is great news for the community and the users! I am very happy that we finaly are going to get the &#8220;Linux&#8221; of Augmented Reality browsers.<br />
All platforms up until now are actualy <strong>NOT</strong> browsers. They are of the same basis of the historical &#8221;Vodafone Live&#8221; idea.<br />
Which mean you can get listed in the &#8220;browser / platform&#8221; if Vodafone accepted you and you would do ref share and their content standards.</p>

<p>The web as we know it today doesn&#8217;t work like this. A consumer has a browser and is able to browse (type in an adres or use links) to navigate to content of there liking.<br />
Direct to the producer of that content without interference. We aren&#8217;t there yet, but this is a very big step in the right direction.</p>
<p>Lets hope that the Firefox version of unbranded browser will be started by Mozilla or some other foundation (Apache, WebKit.org).<br />
About Mixare, have fun with in you own Android apps. Ik will try to build something for fun.</p>
