Layar on Symbian in SXSW?

In the upcoming days SXSW is unfolding.
It seems that Layar has something to tell us there @marlooz has made a picture of a card in her goody bag.

Layar revamped! Looks cool

The Layar logo has been redesigned and it looks great! Thumbs up guys! /me likes it.

Layar API key form has opened

Layar has opened a API key request page.
According to there press-release they have a new strategy.
If you are interested in developing a Layer for there browser than got to http://layer.com/API and signup for a key request.
It is unclear to me what a developer can do with this key. There a no guidelines that I know [...]

Real world “Layar”-ing

Yesterday at the terras we did some layar testing.
We where looking at a Android HTC magic phone with the Layar application installed in the Netherlands.
My first findings are that the application could use some tweaking to optimize performance. The sliders to shorten the radar view are unworkable IMO.

Layar Android application launch

Yeah! What can I say, this is the best application I have seen. It looks realy cool and fun.
The best thing about this application is that it is a platform.
So if you have got some Longtitude Latitude data you can display this in a “Layar” layer.
